Please be aware that Straight Stripe will be seal coating the church parking lot on Monday and Tuesday (June 26 and 27). They said that they may be able to get it done in one day, but it could take two.

Pinecliff Camp

Pinecliff is our Conference campsite in the mountains near Salt Lake City. After the summer camps are over, there is maintenance that needs to be done before the camp Pinecliffcloses for the winter. There are often repairs that need to be made to equipment, necessary cleaning and painting of the dorms, and sometimes plumbing issues that need to be resolved.  Our Missions Ministry Team encourages all who are interested and able to spend time there to consider going.  Less intensive work is also available, such as meal and snack preparation, cleaning floors, and washing windows.  And if you are unable to do physical labor, we have evening discussions in which you can participate.  It is a wonderful way to get to know your fellow parishioners.

Dates this year are from Friday, August 25 through Thursday, August 31, 2017. You may attend the entire time or part of the time. You may stay in the cabins or bring your travel trailer. Hook-ups are available.  Helen Christensen is the Chair of the Missions Ministry Team and is happy to answer any questions you might have.  She can be reached at keithhelen@msn.com or at  801-875-3977.

Annual Conference Discussion

The 2017 Annual Conference Session of the Rocky Mountain Conference will take place at the Marriott Denver Tech Center from June 15-18.  Annual Conference is an opportunity for our leaders to gather and plan ways in which we can better live and serve as United Methodists. Please join us for a discussion, questions, and suggestions for this event between worship times on Sunday, June 11, 2017.  All are invited.

OTHER NEEDS

Bread Bakers Needed:  If you are willing to bake approximately six 3 x 5 loaves of bread each week for two weeks, please sign up in the Narthex or call the church office. This is the bread that Michael hands out as a "Welcome" to our visitors. Please consider doing this a few times during the year. It is a great way to extend our friendship and say, "We are glad you are here with us today."

Members in Need of Transportation: If you are able to help transport two ladies from the assisted living facility at Sun River to the 11:00 a.m. worship on Sundays, please contact Sandi in the church office at 435-627-8638.
