Knowing Christ and making Him known, serving Christ by serving others

The Wesley Ringers Bell Choir performs regularly during traditional worship and holiday services seasonally, as well as for occasional community and private events. English hand bells and hand chimes are tuned percussion instruments. We anticipate having several open positions for ringers (players) for the Fall 2018 season. Familiarity with reading music is helpful but not required, and our experienced ringers can help you learn in a forgiving environment!

Our rehearsal/performance season runs from Labor day through Memorial Day. This includes one evening rehearsal per week for the full choir plus a “sectional” help session per week for anyone desiring additional practice time. For more information on joining the bell choir, please call Anne at 435-673-6298 or leave a message with the church office at 435-627-8638.

Education classes on summer hiatus

The Wired Word Sunday morning class with Rich Hentosh and the Children’s Sunday class with Sue McLaughlin are on summer hiatus. They will resume at the end of summer or beginning of fall. Updates will be provided in August. The Sunday morning Lectionary class will continue through mid-July.

To our Church family at SHUMC: Keith and I want to thank everyone for all their support, through help, money, and prayers. When we joined Missions ERT and Neighbor-to-Neighbor program we thought it would be a great way to help those who needed help. We never though we would need that help ourselves! We are so grateful for our church family because you really were the ones there when we needed help. We want to give a special thank you to Bob and Diane Moffitt who were there with us the first day, when the mud was up to the top of our knee high boots. They brought our spirits up and worked hard right alongside us.                 Keith and Helen Christensen
